About the Organizers

ISAIL Lucknow was established in 2018 and has been set up to create global awareness about the various facets of Information Technology Law and Law regulating Artificial Intelligence. Situated in Lucknow, they partner with various educational institutions and other organizations to conduct workshops and awareness programmes on Information Technology Law and its various aspects.
The School of Law, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore commenced operations from 29th July 2019 and offers the 5 years integrated BALLB/BBA LLB programmes.

About the Workshop

The event is a combination of special sessions, lectures, a webinar and interactive sessions on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence Ethics and the Law with special sessions on Law & Cultural Intelligence, Law & Emotional Intelligence, Law & Behavioural Economics etc.

The session will cover the following areas related to AI Ethics and Legal Theory:
  • -  Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Intelligence and AI Ethics
  • -  AI as a Legal Personality: The Cyberspace Perspective
  • -  AI in International Law: IHL, IHRL and ICL
    - Status and Future of AI Ethics and Law via the perspective of the Indian Legal Fora
The workshop includes a special broadcasted session of the September edition of The Juris En Talks by Internationalism, taking the issue of “Law and Technology: Understanding Artificial Intelligence Beyond Consumer Experience”.

Registration Details

There is no registration fees for the workshop as entry is completely free. Registration can be done on spot on the first day of the workshop, i.e. 7th September 2019.
